ISP programming is a fast and reliable way for programming the AVR micro controllers as it is mounted to the board. The STK programmer is useful in many applications from initial programming to updating the micro controller once installed in the final device.

It is connected to the Parallel port, and can be used for programming any Atmel AVR while it is mountedin a system, which has ISP connector. The PC interface uses the Parallel port, and utilizes the same pinout as the STKxxx programmer.

This tool is easy to use In-System Programmer. It is designed to program all AVR flash In-System Programmable microcontrollers through 10-pin type ISP connector. This programmer uses PonyProg and ATMEL AVR ISP. And there is no need of additional power supply, because the programmer is powered by the target application. Voltage range of the target board is 2.7V to 6V.

Mach3 CNC USB relays project

All in tree steps:

 

1. Connect USB relay to PC and instal the drivers.

     For 1,2 and 4 channels relay boards:

2. Download DLL and place it in your Mach3 install folder (usually C:\Mach3)

3. Add to your macro or button script ON or OFF command

Command's format:
a = Relay(5,1,"ON")  - where "5" is USB COM port, "1" is relay number, "ON" is command, which turns ON the relay connected to COM5
a = Relay(5,1,"OFF")  - where "5" is USB COM port, "1" is relay number, "OFF" is command, which turns OFF the  relay connected to COM5

Note- every script where you use commands has to start with this declaration:

Uploading Arduino HEX files with XLoader

How to upload HEX files directly to Arduino

 

The program is called XLoader and you can download at

Now you need to attach the Arduino board (select device)

Select the COM port in my case is COM3. Then you have to navigate to the HEX file and select it.

 

                                   

 

 

 

Click upload and you are ready.
